Easy DIY Halloween Plates

I love displaying seasonal plates in my china cabinet, but I didn't have any decorative plates for Halloween. Since I'm on a budget, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a set of plates either. So, I improvised and made my own!
I found some simple black and white spider web window clings in my local party store. Usually, we put these on the bathroom mirrors, but I had kind of a lightbulb moment when I was looking at them. So, instead of decorating the mirrors, I used the window clings to decorate some plates.
I have a huge set of every-day white plates -- no fine china was harmed during the process -- and I used three extra plates for this project. I think this is the easiest craft ever! My kids helped place the webs in the center of the plates, and I trimmed the clings to fit.
You can visit my blog to see how the other two plates turned out. Oh, and best of all, the window clings were only 99 cents. So, I basically got three Halloween plates for around one dollar! Thanks for reading!
