Looking for a memorable way to exchange Valentine greetings this February 14th? Try these easy DIY Valentine Poppers! (Psst - they're made out of toilet paper rolls!)
Kids love surprises, they love opening things, and they love discovering little treasures. These fun Valentine's Day Poppers pack all of those punches!
"Bursting with joy to have you for a friend!"
The secret to these poppers? They're made out of toilet paper rolls! Other supplies needed: tissue paper, wrapping or decorative paper, scissors/trimmer, double stick tape, ribbon, and fun items for fillers.
Cut tissue paper into an 11.5" x 11.5" square and wrap around toilet paper roll, securing with double-stick tape. Cut wrapping paper 4" wide x 6.5" long and wrap around roll, securing with double stick tape. Tie one end with ribbon.
Fill roll with fun goodies for the kiddos! I used lollipops, stickers, bubbles, rings, and erasers. Tie other end with ribbon, and add your label using double-stick tape.
Last but not least - tear them open and enjoy!
These poppers (made for my 4 year old daughter Kate's daycare class) make a memorable and age-appropriate Valentine's gift for little ones.
Time to start collecting those empty toilet paper rolls! (PS. A free printable of the label I used is available on my blog tat the link below!)

We do these every yr at Christmas. When we open them we pull both ends and, POP! Do these do that?

This is a great idea to use all year round! My little nieces will love to get "stuff" in them. Thanks!

I did this with paper towel rolls cut in half then covered them in white tissue paper followed by blue and red cellophane. I tied the ends using silver star wire and we used them as "firecracker" decorations for Fourth of July. You could do something similar with silver and gold on New Years Eve.
