Easy Harvest Wreath

4 Materials
1 Hour

A simply stated wreath using household materials and a few florals.

  • wire hanger
  • electrical tape, or duct tape
  • twine
  • florals of your choice
Unwind the ends of the wire hangers
Shape into a circle

Shape into an circle and tape the ends together. Overlap the tape a few inches on each side of the overlap so that they do not come undone.

Tie on the twine and wrap

Tie the twine on over the tape. Be sure to knot it tightly. Then, begin to wrap it around the hanger loop. I found the easiest way to do this is hold it between your knees so you can wrap the twine quickly with two hands.

Knot the twine back where you started
Lay out the florals

Lay out the florals on your loop. Cut any excess wire, being sure to leave enough to tie down with twine.

Secure the florals up the sides of the loop

Using twine, secure the florals in several spots up the sides of the loop so they lay nicely.

Hang on a hook or door for your Thanksgiving look
