I love finding ways to use up craft supplies and I had a pile of floral cardstock scraps that I've been saving. I finally found a great way to use them, by turning them into these easy scrap paper ribbons and I love how they turned out. They are just adorable and would be great Valentine's as-is or they could be used as a gift topper or home décor. The best thing about this project, is you probably already have everything you need to make these at home!
I used cardstock to make rosettes. You can see another tutorial here on how to make them.
Trace and cut out circles (small enough to fit on the rosettes) and strips.
Glue two strips to one of the circles.
Glue the circle to the back of the rosette.
Turn the rosette over and glue a circle to the front.
Glue tinsel ribbon around the circle.
Pull out your stickers and start decorating the rosettes. Since Valentine's Day is right around the corned, I went with a Valentine's theme.
Use mounting tape and hang the ribbons on a vision board or around your home.
Use them as gift toppers or inside a gift basket.
Punch a hole in the back and add a piece of yarn for hanging.
You can make these ribbons to go along with any holiday, make them for birthday parties, bridal and/or baby showers for adorable party décor.
