Felt Heart Garland

5 Materials
This makes adorable reusable decoration that can be used for Valentine's Day or an anniversary party. It is fairly easy to make but does require a sewing machine or some quick stitching.
Gather your supplies together. You don't need much- just two sheets of contrasting felt and two colors of pom-poms, plus scissors, needle, and thread.
First, cut the felt in half lengthwise.
Sew the two pieces of like color felt together lengthwise. If your felt has an obvious front side, sew the front sides facing out away from each other.
Open the two pieces of felt and bring the open edges to meet each other creating the heart shape. Sew the felt together approximately 1/4″ from the edge to create a heart shaped tube.
Cut the heart shaped tube into 1" pieces. Each piece of felt should make about 10-12 hearts.

Repeat this whole process with the other color of felt.

String the hearts onto a piece of thread using a needle and adding a pom pom in between each heart and alternating colors.
There you have an adorable heart garland that you can reuse year after year. String it across your mantle or a doorway to add a little extra love into your life!
