Fixer Upper Style Wall Decor

Junk Monkey Paint Company

Easy, cheap, yet simple cute wall décor! Especially for the farmhouse, country, rustic lover! Everyone will want you to make them one too!

Go grab a cheap frame, or better yet find one in your garage or basement! The uglier the better! We are just worried about the wooden frame, not the picture in it! Found this one for $3.99! Now rip out all the insides - glass and all!
Paint your frame! Pick your favorite color! I went with an off-white neutral color! But you can have fun with an accent color of your choice! Splash color all over the wooden frame!
Get yourself some floral or jewelry wire, scissors, wire cutter and twine for the next steps!
Find some Easter eggs you like! You can even get the blank paper Mache ones and paint them yourself! Get the plastic, foam or wood ones, and drill a hole directly through the center of about 10 of them. That's what I used for this project size.
Thread the wire through each egg to form a circle. Tie it off with the wire ends that are left showing. Then place it on your chicken wire that you have stapled to your frame. This is the back view. You can see the green wire is attached to the back side (so it's not showing on the front).
Cut some twine pieces to help secure the egg wreath to the frame, and at the same time, giving it some extra style! I just tied simple bows on mine.
And here is the finished project! Frame, chicken wire, and eggs! Simple, cute and farmhouse all the way! And here's a second idea....to add a timeless wreath to your project so you can display it all year round...make a cotton wreath to add to it!

Where did you get the cotton wreath? They are usually so expensive.
