Halloween Hogwarts Floating Candles

We love Halloween and Harry Potter at our house! I found some battery operated lights and inspiration struck. We were going to make floating candles just like at Hogwarts in our house for Halloween this year!

We bought these battery operated lights at the Dollar Tree. You get 1 candle for $1. They take 2 AAA batteries. You tighten the bottom to turn them on and loosen them to turn them off.
I tied fish line to the flicker part of the candle and then I tied the other end to the railings above.
My daughter helped me from below to vary the heights of the candles. She made sure they were low enough to reach to turn on and off and yet high enough not to hit my husband's head.
We love them, and hope you might like them too.
