Rustic wooden flag made from easy supplies at the hardware store! Display your patriotic with pride!
This is the finished product, hanging like a wind chime!
Bought a bundle of yard stakes, 25 for $11, a board 48 x 7 1/2, cup hooks and eye hooks and chipboard stars, plus paint and you are ready to go! We cut the board into 4 pieces. Here is the layout.
These are used to attach the stakes/stripes to the blue board
Let the painting insue! We used spray paint, but I would recommend reg paint as the raw wood just sucks up the paint!
We screwed the eye hooks and cup hooks into the boards before we painted that way they are all the same color.
All done! Our house is the first one you see as you drive into our housing tract, so we like to represent with pride!
