How To Make A Halloween Scroll Wall Hanging
Learn how to make a quick and easy Halloween scroll wall hanging using shipping paper.
Quick and easy crafts are some of my favorite things to make. When you add inexpensive to that, I’m a happy camper. This Halloween scroll wall hanging checks all the boxes.
You can pick up a roll of shipping paper at the dollar store, making this extremely budget-friendly. I found a smaller size roll in the Target dollar spot for $3. It’s the perfect size for the transfer that I’m using.
Halloween Scroll Wall Hanging
SUPPLIES- Kraft Roll
- Twine
- Surebonder Cordless Hot Glue Gun
- Flying Lessons Transfer
- Chalkology Paste – Bright White
- Chalkology Paste – Cadet
- Chalk Couture Squeegee
This literally takes about 10 minutes to make. The chalk couture transfer has a sticky back, so just add it to the center of the kraft roll.
Use the squeegee to add the cadet blue and white paste. A little goes a long way, so be sure not to add too much.
Slowly remove the transfer and reveal your beautiful Halloween image! Can’t get much easier than that.
Because the kraft roll was a lot longer than I needed, I had to come up with something to use as a roll to get that classic scroll look. Here is what I used:
Fancy, right? You probably could use an empty paper towel roll or plastic wrap roll as well. I just happened to be working on a Halloween ornament wreath so I had this handy.
Just add a little hot glue to secure a tube to each end. The great thing is you can make several different scrolls out of one kraft roll.
