Dollar store craft ideas for Halloween are fun and affordable, especially when you turn a votive into a Frankenstein decoration! With a little creativity you can make inexpensive Halloween crafts to spookify your haunted house. I do a lot of Dollar Tree crafts because I have one located nearby. They have so many inexpensive items for home decor, but with a little imagination, you can turn them into Halloween Dollar Tree diys.

Be sure to check out the video, so you can see exactly how I made it! You can find more information on my blogpost HERE!

I started with a square votive, which is the perfect shape for a Frankenstein head. It's glass.

I painted the inside of the votive with a green paint. Figure it will take multiple coats.

I had wooden pegs from the craft store.

I painted them silver to look like bolts.

I used a paint pen and drew a very basic Frankenstein face onto the outside of the glass votive. Really basic - anyone can draw it!

Brows

Eyes, nose mouth

Stitches

Some hair

And don't forget the scar!

I glued the pegs onto the sides, toward the bottom.

That's it! Drop a battery operated tea candle in there and add it to your Halloween decor! Thanks for stopping by! Be sure to share and Pin It!
