This Create a Kawaii Rainbow from Craft Sticks is a great family fun craft activity and the perfect addition for a rainbow party with the kiddos!

Gather all materials and protect your work surface.

Place one set of six rainbow-colored craft sticks on the work surface in a chevron pattern. Attach a scrap piece of paper to the craft sticks with the glue gun and glue sticks. Then attach the second set of rainbow craft sticks.

Download, print and cut out  RAINBOW CRAFT STICK PATTERNS  Trace cloud shape onto white felt twice and cut out with scissors. TIP: Cut out inside the lines, so you have a clean, finished project.

Line up the two white felt cloud shapes and sew together with the embroidery floss and needle using a running stitch. Leave an opening wide enough to fit the rainbow craft sticks but continue the running stitch on the top layer of felt for decoration.

Stuff the sewn cloud with Poly-Fil stuffing.

Insert the craft stick rainbow into the cloud and secure on the bottom and then the top with the glue gun and glue sticks.

Trace cheek shape onto pink felt twice and cut out with scissors. TIP: Cut out inside the lines, so you have a clean, finished project. Using the guide on the pattern sheet, attach cheeks and wiggle eyes with the glue gun.

Carefully draw a half-circle spanning from cheek to cheek with the permanent black marker.

Measure and cut a ten-inch length of bakers twine.

Knot twine at each end and secure to the back of the cloud with the glue gun and glue sticks.

This Kawaii inspired rainbow is so fun and easy to put together!
