Before I start this post, I would like to warn you that I am francophone ... I apologize in advance for the mistakes I will certainly make !!

My son and step-sons are crazy about Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas... So this year, I decided to make them a surprise for Halloween!

Note : my step-by-step pictures sometimes shows Sally, sometimes Jack...

First, I created a circle on the pumpkin with masking tape. It's easier to make a nice round circle this way.

I used acrylic paint, but I would have used spray paint if I had it on hand! It would have dry faster and would have a nicer finish...
I then measured the width and the lenght of my pumpkin's face and cut a circle with those measures on a sheet. I only draw half of the face.
This being done, I cut the edges of the eyes, the mouth, etc, in order to create a stencil. With a sharpie and the stencil, I reported the face sketch on the pumpkin. I turned my stencil to do the same on the other half.
I used a fine brush and coloured my pumpkins. I used a spray varnish to seal and protect my painting.
