Patriotic Rope Wreath

Hey Hometalk! With the 4th of July on it's way, I figured it was time to make a Dollar store wreath, check it out. I only used a few items, and I love how it turned out.

First I gathered all of my materials, all purchased from the Dollar Tree (woohoo!)

The first step was to wrap the rope around the wreath form.

Once the rope was fully covering the wreath, I removed the flag from the flagpole/plastic stick it came with. It was pretty easy to remove- jut gotta pull it!

Then I folded the flag like an accordion (on the side of the stripes) and tied it with a string.

I flipped the wreath over and glued the the edges of the flag to one side of the wreath.

Then I flipped it back over and spread it apart.

I then flipped it over again and glued that end down.

Then I took the 3 flowers and tucked it under the flag and added a twine bow.

Open the flowers up. That's it! Hope you like it :) icon Don't forget to check out my projects on my Facebook page, Gilbert Marketplace.
