Now I know there are an endless amount of DIY decor ideas for your Halloween wreath but this is one that was inspired by one hanging in my local Michael's for $80. I'm going to show you how I made it for less than $10.
Gather your materials: now you can use whatever circle base, I always go from a Dollar Store hula hoop and a pool noodle (I cut the noodle open, wrap it around the hula hoop and you have a foam wreath base for less than $5), bat outlines which you can print offline, black construction paper, hot glue, orange tulle and scissors. You can use whatever material your heart desires though!
You want to cut as many pieces that you believe will cover your wreath ring. I folded mine in half to ensure it was the proper length when I loop it onto the wreath ring.
Trace and cut out your bats of various sizes.
So I messed up - I painted the pool noodle wreath ring orange but I wouldn't have had enough to cover this entirely so....
I switched to a ring I had on hand which ended up working perfectly because the pool noodle wreath ring would've been too big for my front door. I simply folded it in half, looped it around and pulled the ends through and continued that until it was covered.
Once that is covered, hot glue your bats directly onto the wreath fringe.
And that's it! You can add fairy lights, cut outs of words or whatever decor you want.
