4th of July is coming up and I decided to make a red white and blue patriotic wreath. I have a grapevine wreath form that I re-use and redecorate every season trying my best to keep the price tag under $10! This time I managed to make it for under $5!
Start with Red white and blue dollar store flowers. Cut them off from the from the original stems using a wire cutter.
Insert them one by one into the wreath and twist them in the back to position them. I used 6 blue flowers followed by 3 red, 3 white, 3 red, 3 white and 3 red.
Paint the little wood cut out stars in silver. I painted 5 stars.
Glue the stars to the blue flowers using a little drop of hot glue.
Its DONE!! I love the simple and slightly rustic look of it! And I love the fact that I could complete it for under $5! Check out the spring wreath that I completed for under $10 and if you like thrifty projects like I do, take a look at my favorite projects that cost less than $5 to make!

This is really cute and easy enough for someone like me, that isn't very crafty.

Frequently asked questions
Have a question about this project?
Where do you get the wreath vine thing since I don’t have one? Where do you get the little stars? I think it’s doable for me as I am not creative or artistic. It’s real cute!
