I set a pretty, patriotic and budget friendly tablescape using garden center flowers and thrifted china.

I wanted a patriotic table setting for the 4th. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on things that I would only use a few times a year so I wanted to keep it simple and use things I had on hand. I started by layering table runners to add a little texture.

I used my white day to day plates, white linen napkins, and some blue and white china that I thrifted recently.

I layered the table settings together. White plates, linen napkins, topped by the blue and white china. I finished it off with my everyday silverware and some fun summer tumblers.

Next, I needed a centerpiece. I wanted something simple. I picked up some white garden center flowers. I used a bowl I found on another thrifting trip and some mini flags I had that were left over from another project.

I simply added the flowers to the bowl.

I made sure they looked full from all sides. I did not add pebbles to the bottom because I plan to plant these in the garden after our dinner. You may want to do this if you plan to use the centerpiece longer.

Then I added fhe mini flags to the center. I used 3.

This was so simple to make and best of all, it will last a long time if you want it to!

The great thing about this "holiday" decor is that it I can use it all any time of the year.

Love it - except next time it's fork to the left and knives and spoons to the right. Love the whole table. Good job.
