Every backyard needs birdhouses, sundials, and birdbaths, Sweet Friends. And every backyard needs an outdoor luncheon. Today, I'm going to give you Five Simple Tips for Hosting an Outdoor Luncheon.

In this backyard the birds enjoy their birdseed. The birds fly in and out of their houses. The birds even bathe in their bird bath. The birds love finding worms on the grass. The birds are always happy.

But in this backyard the grass was overgrown. The grass was brown. The grass even had some leftovers from the pups.

When I decided to plan an Outdoor Luncheon for my parents, first on my list of to-do's was the grass.

Summer has arrived and it seems fitting for an Outdoor Luncheon. My parents don't get outside much. I wanted to set up a simple "patriotic themed" outdoor luncheon for Mom and Dad. An opportunity for them to enjoy some sunshine and lunch.

Step one:Clean up the yard! My parents love their Worx Landroid. It's super easy to use and it does a great job at mowing the lawn. What I really like about this Worx Landroid is the grass is cut evenly and there is no extra grass clippings to clean up. The Worx Landroid works when it needs to work.

Step two:Find a table and chairs. For this outdoor luncheon, I located a fold up table and chairs on the side of the house. It was perfect because I could move it to the exact spot I wanted the luncheon. Mom and Dad needed a change of scenery and this was ideal.

Step three:Set the table. For this backyard luncheon I created a simple table setting. I used an old drop cloth for the table and a flag as a table runner. Silver Chargers and White Plastic Plates with some real silverware and a white napkin seemed appropriate. Plastic glasses were in order, as broken glass outdoors is never fun. I included a pretty vase with a rose. The chairs were adorned with Dollar Store patriotic looking globes. Setting an outdoors luncheon doesn't need to be fancy, it just needs to be practical.

Step four:Don't forget lots of water and a tasty lunch.

Step five:Sunscreen and hats are a must. Before I sent Mom and Dad outside for their Simple Outdoor Luncheon, they loaded up with sunscreen and hats.

Benefits of the Worx Landroid Mower! The Worx Landroid sure made this project easy. Every yard needs to be cleaned up prior to an Outdoor Luncheon. If the yard isn't beautiful how can the lunch be enjoyable?

Here are the benefits of the Worx Landroid Mower. The online instruction guide videos makes setting up the Landroid super easy. Installing the wire system is super simple and all the parts are included in the box. The Landroid comes with a base docking station which allows the Landroid to return to it's station after it has mowed the lawn and easily re-charge. The mower works when it needs to work. It's agile, safe and accurate. The blade depth can be adjusted on the Landroid which allows you to personalize the length of your grass. The placement of the blade on the Landroid, allows for a clean cut to the edge and less trim work needed later. The Landroid moves randomly on your grass so you don't get lines in the grass.

I hope I have inspired you to go out there and Create Something.Cynthia
