On the blog today, I am sharing how I decorated my ladder for Easter.

Through the year I place a blanket and add a basket of greenery on my ladder, but during the holidays I love decorating my ladder with a theme.

HOW TO DECORATE A LADDER FOR EASTER

To start off decorating I am using my DIY Easter garland I created last year….To see how I made the garland you can click here → EASTER EGG GARLAND. I wrapped the two garlands on the ladder, starting at the top step working down one side of the ladder and ending the garland on the last step.

I found the cute little boy and girl bunnies in Kirkland’s. I added them to a couple steps of the ladder.

Keeping my Kirkland’s cage lantern on the bench, I removed the candle, kept my DIY lamb’s ear and lavender wreath tucked inside. Instead of a candle I placed colorful Easter eggs inside the glass holder.

To see the tutorial on how I made my wreath you can click here → LAMB’S EAR AND LAVENDER WREATH.

The wreath needed a little more color, so I added a bundle of Dollar Tree cherry blossoms to it. I snipped them off the bundle and stuck the stems into the wreath.

I love the two little bunnies I found in Hobby Lobby last year, I added the boy bunny to the lantern and the girl bunny with a little Easter sign to the bench.

To sit in front of the ladder I made this wooden bunny, I saw Corine’s Junk to Gems tutorial last week and thought I had to make one for Easter. Mine is a little different than hers, but both are super cute.

If you are interested in making one you can click here to view her tutorial → WOODEN BUNNY.

Don’t the bunnies remind you of a bunny family having fun? 🙂
