Strawberry Easter Egg Garland

I have a super cool way for you to use some of your foam Easter eggs. Turn them into an adorable garland! Strawberry vines always take me back to my childhood. My Grandparents would grow them in their front yard and my sister and I love them so much, we'd eat them before they had a chance to fully ripen. Those were the days when it was ok to rinse them off with water from the hose and eat them right then and there, barefoot in the front yard.

I had the idea to make these a couple weeks ago. I had tons of foam Easter eggs, but no red eggs. I couldn't even find red eggs at the store, so I painted some of my large eggs red with craft paint. I used small yellow eggs for the unripe strawberries. Add white dots to both the red and yellow strawberries. Use green felt to cut out stems. For the large strawberries, I cut out circles and then slits all the way around. Small circles for the unripe strawberries.

Use green felt to cut out the leaves. For this, cut out a circle, then slits along the side. Use a hot glue gun to attach the stems and yarn for hanging.

These are so cute, just like this...

Decide how long you want your garland and cut your yarn to length. Tie the strawberries on and add your leaves. I also cut out little white flowers and glued a yellow pom pom to the middle!

I love how cute this turned out.

You could even add a name tag and use these for place settings for Easter!
