I love And I love wreaths. Yet, somehow, I didn't have any Halloween wreaths on hand, despite my overabundance of other wreaths. I think I just hadn't found any that I truly loved.
I was in the craft aisle one day, and I saw spools of Halloween colored tulle for sale. I thought about the many easy tutus I have made for my daughters in the past and I decided I could easily make an adorable Halloween wreath with the tulle.
I bought a bunch of tulle, and a couple styrofoam wreath forms. With the spools of tulle you don't even need to worry about cutting strips, since they are already in "strip" form. Just decide the length you need to tie around the wreath form. This is a great project to do while sitting in front of the TV-just tie the tulle around the form. Easy peasy!
I added some cheap Halloween ribbon, a broken crow decoration (he was missing a foot, but after I glued him inside the wreath you can't even tell), and another metal decoration that I've had for a while. It looks so great above my mantel!
I made another one with black, orange, and sparkly brown tulle for my front door. I also used another metal Hallween sign that I've had for a few years. I never know where to hang it, and I'm loving how it looks as part of the wreath.
