Valentine Mason Jar

2 Materials
Today I have a quick and easy mason jar vase for Valentine’s Day that you can make for your home. So many of you love mason jar and this makes for a beautiful floral arrangement in no time at all!
Here is the fun part about this tutorial, I will give you the supplies and basic steps, but if you head over to the blog, you will find a video where you can see all of the fun crafting in action!
The supplies that you will need are actually quite simple:

1- A quart sized smooth sided mason jar (you may even have one on hand already)

2- A Hazel and Ruby Stencil Mask (head over to the blog to see where you can purchase this stencil)

3- Light pink spray paint can

4- Craft Knife

5- Silver Paint Pen
I highly recommend watching the video first that you find in the blog post. It will give you loads of tips and tricks that will help along the way!

Instructions:

1- Start with a clean smooth sided mason jar. The smooth sides work best for this technique.

2-Apply the stencil masks and rub well to adhere.

3-Spray paint to cover the entire jar and allow to dry. I find it best to spray paint upside down to protect inside.

4-Remove masks with the help of a craft knife.

5-Use paint pen to outline letters.

6-Allow to dry completely before adding in flowers!
Suggested materials:
  • Mason jar   (spray paint)
  • Paint pen   (stencil)
