I love different and I have lots of wine corks!! What to do?? Each year I try to do something artistically different for Valentine’s. This year I’ve decided to make artwork out of wine corks.

This was such an easy project to do.

I found these two pieces of art at our local Goodwill store.

To start, I took out the original artwork and loved how the corrugated cardboard looked. I decided to use it as the background as I loved the natural look.

Here, I used a regular latex paint and lightly ran it over the frames to make them stand out more. It also freshens the frame up.

I gathered some corks to use for my project.

I used a serrated edge knife and cut equal pieces for my project.

Once happy with the amount, start arranging into a heart shape.

Once happy with how it looks, hot glue in place.

You won’t need that much glue. Just add a dab to each cork piece.

You can also add the glue to the cardboard as long as you do one at a time.

Once all glued in place, peel off any excess glue and you are done!!

I’m loving this natural look!

A perfect addition to your Valentine’s decor!

Simple, inexpensive and a fun, easy project!

As always, thanks for stopping by, have a wonderful day!
