Dollartree has coffee, wine, chefs, roosters and other placemats. Find the one you like and make a wall decoration. While you are there, pick up some nautical rope. You will need two. Also, roll of your favorite ribbon (wired). A poster board to glue the placemat on if you prefer.
Hot glue the placemat on the board. Cut around the board to the edge of the placemat. Now glue your pretty rope around the placemat and on top of it.
Add some more rope to the back as a long hanger. If you do not want to hang this piece, use it as a placemat on the table. Many other possibilities, yet, this one will go on the wall and with a cute bow.
I made a bow and added a little bit more of the rope. Now place the bow on the top of the hanger and glue it.
Beautiful and budget friendly decoration. Like I said, you can use other themes from Dollar Tree. My daughter loves it because her kitchen is a chef theme. Dollartree has towels, cutting board and hot pads in chefs so I did purchase those items for her new house. **I also made a decoration towel holder out of an old cheese grater. (see next photo).
She uses it as a decoration on the kitchen wall.
Thanks for watching. See you soon! Bless.
