If you are looking for a way to step up your gift giving game, I have it... The other day I was wrapping gifts and started thinking about how I loved lined envelopes and thought it would be great to do the same thing with a gift box. So, I turned a plain gift box into something totally cool... plus, it can be reused, so it's almost like an extra gift! I had everything at home for this project, so I'll price it at a couple dollars because these are things that most people already have in their craft supplies.

Decide what you are going to decorate your box with. I used some vintage wrapping paper from the thrift store for the inside. Measure and cut your paper to size.

Use a glue stick to add the paper to the inside of the box.

Do the same thing with the outside - using a glue stick to add paper to the outside. I used Martha Stewart paper for the outside of my gift box. You can use the same on the inside and outside, but there is something cool about doing two different patterns.

Now you have a pretty, custom gift box that is beautiful and fun.

Tie a pretty ribbon around your gift and you have a gift that you'll be proud to give away!
