So today I finally decided to give this trendy hoop wreath that I had been seeing on the internet. The other day I went to the thrift store and found me an embroidery hoop for only .50 cents. I love how it came out and can't wait to make more.
You will need an embroidery hoop, you can get any size that you like. This one that I will be using is 9 inches in diameter.
You will also need a type of ribbon that you like. If the ribbon that you are going to use is wired you have to pull then out.
Place the ribbon on the inner hoop then put the outer hoop in place, then go ahead and tighten up the screw.
Trim off the ribbon if you need to and you can also dove tail it or cut it on an angle.
Using some faux flowers and stems go ahead and decorate the bottom of the hoop to your heart's desire. You can glue in place or use some floral wires.
Now it's time to hang it on the wall or anywhere really.
I also glued a silver bead garland to add some sparkle since this is a Christmas wreath.
Finished product! The beauty about this wreath after the holidays I can easily remove the ribbon and replace it according to the season.
