DIY Father's Day Photo Frame

2 Materials
If you're looking for a relatively easy Father's Day gift for your husband or father that they will absolutely love, this project will certainly fit the bill! I actually made it for my husband LAST year and of course I didn't get it finished in time to blog about it (any other "pro-craft-inators" out there? hehe) - but it has gotten LOTS of compliments from his coworkers as they've seen it on the desk in his office, so I decided it was worth digging out to share!
You can do this project in one of two ways - the first is WITH a Silhouette machine, and the second is without. If you own a Silhouette, you can cut a "We *heart* Daddy" photo mat to go in your frame. But if you don't own a Silhouette, you can still use the Silhouette Studio software (which is FREE to download) to create and print the photo letter collage by itself!
Head over to my blog post (linked below) to grab the free Silhouette Studio file to work with as a template. I show you exactly how to import and crop your own photos to create your own version - with your own cute kiddos!
I've also included a "we love Grandpa" and an "I heart Daddy" version for you to work with.
I just love how it turned out!
Daddy (or Grandpa) will LOVE showing this off on his desk at work, don't you think? Be sure to head to the link below to see the full step-by-step tutorial along with the free cut file.

Firstly, I'd like to thank you so much for your generosity in posting these instructions. I'd like to make one for my grandies to give to their father on Fathers Day, which is in September here in NZ. The youngest is 7, so I'm wondering if I can shorten "DADDY" to DAD and how do I do this? I'd also like to do a "GRANDAD" one is there a cut file available for this? Grateful thanks and God bless.
