DIY Gift Envelope Using Scrapbook Paper

by Elizabeth Fischer
Add a special touch to your gift-giving with these paper gift envelopes. Bonus: Use up all that extra scrapbook paper that's lying around the house.
Materials:

-Scrapbook paper

-Circle tracers

-Scissors

-Glue

-Pencil

-Ribbon (optional)
Trace a circle-shaped object onto your scrapbook paper with pencil.
You'll need four circles for each envelope, so trace accordingly.
Fold your circles in half. Fit them together (without glue) to see how they fit. You'll fit them together as if you're closing a box without tape.
While they are still put together, trace the overlapping part of the circles for each of the four pieces.
Put glue on the overlapped traced pieces. Fit your pieces back together and press to adhere them to each other.
Close your envelopes up as if you are closing a box without tape. Add ribbon if you would like to add an extra touch to your envelopes. Use for gift cards, notes, or other small gifts.
