Easy Christmas Ball Decoration (with Hidden Gift Box)

I didn't make a lot of Christmas decorations this year but I had an idea for this is a fun and easy Christmas ball. It is shiny and festive and it has a special hidden gift compartment inside. You can make it to hang on your tree or display it on your table and then surprise someone with the gift hidden inside.

To make this special Christmas ball I used an empty plastic Dove lotion jar from the Dollar Tree.

Two half foam balls from Walmart and a Christmas necklace and thumbtacks also from the Dollar Tree

To hide the plastic container inside the ball I carved out the foam to the size of the container.

Once the holes were made I glued the pieces inside the foam with some E6000 glue.

The beaded necklace was used to fill in the space between the two foam pieces and then the thumbtacks were added to finish the Christmas Ball Decoration.
