Easy Colorful Felt Bows
I told you guys I was obsessed with felt right now, didn't I? Well... I am. I can't get enough of the felt crafts because it's so easy to use and the possibilities of what you can make are endless. I also love bows, but they can get pricey when you buy them from a store. I decided to make my own colorful felt bows and I love how they turned out. I made them two different ways, so you can choose which way you like and make your own.
Pick out the colors you want to use for your bows. You can use as many colors as you want.
Cut your felt into strips.
Layer the felt strips and glue or sew together. I used my sewing machine on the bows I sewed together, but you can do it by hand also.
I made the two pieces for this bow and tied them together with a white piece of felt.
Isn't this cute?
You can also attach your strips together at the ends and make more of a color blocked bow.
I love how these bows look... they are fun and colorful and so much cheaper than the store bought bows. You can buy felt for around .30 cents and 5 pieces of felt can easily give you at least 10 bows.
You can use your bows for so many things...
- Tie them around nutcrackers and other figurines you have.
- Use them on gifts
- Add them to a wreath
- Tie them onto a stocking
- Tie around towels in bathroom
- Tie to the back of a kitchen chair
- Hang on art work and pictures
- Tie them onto a Christmas tree
- Add them to a garland
- Add a hair clip to the back and give as a gift
