How to Make the Easiest Vanilla & Tea Tree Hand Sanitizer

3 Materials

Easy

Hello everyone.

Thought I'd share just how easy it is to make hand sanitizer killing 99.9 germs without being costly.

I researched how to make hand sanitizer.

As I was going to hospital weekly throughout covid.

I always needed to use this.

Sometimes my hands would be so dry. And sore.

I suffer from senceative skin so I needed something fast.

So that's why I started making my own hand sanitizer it is really good and works wonders leaving my hands soft. And clean.

Below is what you need.

4 magic ingredients.

1. Empty bottle of sanatiza bottle

2. Essential Oil's

3. Aloe vera

4. Isopropyl alcohol (below)

I bought a big bottle from Amazon.

It as lasted a long time.

I've made meny bottles of sanatiza with this.

Saving lots of money.

Tree tea essential oil is great for skin.

Leaveing very soft indeed.

Vanilla essential oiI

I use for the armour it leaves on my skin

Let's get started.

So below is a old sanatiza bottle I bought in the past

I just clean it out and reuse it.

Its 100ml in size.

Get your aloe vera gel and fill 1/3rd of your bottle

Adding aloe with alcohol helps Moisturise and nourishment to your hands as the alcohol can leave it harsh on skin.

Add 2/3rds of isopropyl alcohol to your bottle

This will kill 99.9% of germs and bacteria.

Give a good mix and add your oils

* 10 drops of tree tea essential oil

Below

* I added 10 drops of vanilla essential oil

Give it a good mixing.

You could use a mixing bowl.

But I find it faster & easier just adding all the ingredients to the bottle.

Should be looking like this and smelling good.

Time to try the consistency of the mixture

*If it's a bit sticky or tacky on your skin

Add a couple more drops of alcohol and mix throughly.

Drip some in the palm of your hand and rub all around your hands.

Hand sanitizer should evaporate within 15 seconds drying completely!

(Not wet or tacky)

Leaveing hands feeling soft and dry.

And smelling like vanilla

I'm happy with this bottle.

My hands feel nice.

Screw the lid back on and that's your hand sanitizer all made.

Thats my bottle of hand sanitizer

Ready to go into my handbag for when I can't wash my hands and need to use sanitizer

The shop bought ones left my hands very sticky.

After researching how to make this myself I learned

If it takes longer then 10/15 secs to evaporate it usually means it's made with fragrance oil which drys our skin out or maybe to much barrier cream that's being used its unbeknown.

I've tested some shop bought hand sanitizer and some take as long as 25 seconds to evaporate and leave skin tacky and sticky and very wet.

Personally I like to make my own hand sanatiza knowing what ingredients I use are natural.

I can smell the alcohol knowing this is a sanitizer killing germs but the vanilla essence soon takes over leaving my hands smelling beautiful plus the added effects of tree tea.

Is very effective.

I hope this will inspire others to make there own hand sanatiza it is easy and will save money.

If you make a bigger mixture you can give it to friends and family.

I'm in and out from the garden daily i wash my hands a lot.

Using this also leaves my skin ultra soft.

It's a pleasure to use after being in the garden.

Perfect hand sanitizer that will moisturise and add nourishment to your hands.

Also killing germs and bacteria!
