Kids love playing with toys and they also enjoy a good bath. Check out this easy DIY shark soap for kids and learn how to embed a toy in soap.

This is such an easy way to make homemade soap for kids. You can use whatever type of fish soap you find in the store. Or, change it up and use a different type of plastic toy instead. Different colors of Micah powder can change the color of the soap as well.

With DIY Soap For Kids you can learn how to easily make your own soaps using only 3 ingredients, then embed any toy inside or on top before gifting or selling them.

If your child isn’t into sharks or fish, you can embed any small plastic toy. Keep in mind that these toys are smaller so they are not suitable for younger children that like to put things in their mouths.

If you prefer, you can use a toy dinosaur, plastic horse, ladybug, or any other miniature plastic toy. It’s helpful if this theme is something that your child is interested in.

  • Melt the melt and pour soap in the microwave on high for 30 seconds.
  • Add the colorant and a tiny bit of rubbing alcohol to a small dish and blend.
  • Add the mica/alcohol blend to the soap base and blend.
  • Pour a small layer into the mold.
  • Add the plastic toy.
  • Add more melted soap until the mold is full and the toy is partially embedded.
  • Let it sit until solid. Remove from the mold.
