Make Your Own Gift Tags
Every time that I sit down to wrap presents, I seem to run out of gift tags. Luckily, these are really easy to make. I even had my daughter help me make a bunch one day. She really enjoyed mixing the patterns of washi tape.
Gather your supplies. The tag maker punch is so useful. I even use it to make tags for my vintage booth.
Washi tape can be found at crafts stores and even IKEA. I love collecting fun patterns.
Punch along the side of the cardstock to maximize the paper. It's possible to get 9 tags from 1 sheet.
The tag maker also makes holes. It can install eyelets as well, but I've never used that feature.
Stamp (or write) "to and from" on the tags, leaving room to write. I alternated mine and made some sideways and some upright.
Apply washi tape to the tags. It's fun to mix patterns and colors. I make the pieces a bit longer than the tag.
Then, I cut away the excess tape along the side of the tag.
Baker's twine tied onto the tag looks really cute.
This process goes pretty quickly.
Making the tags from sticker paper is another option to make wrapping presents even faster.
