Oatmeal Cream Pie Soap Cupcakes
Make easy soap cupcakes with this tutorial. I added real oatmeal and cinnamon and made oatmeal cream pie cupcake. Most soap cupcakes have whipped soap piped on top, but these are easy to make with a special soap mold.
You'll need:
19 ounces white melt and pour soap, divided
1/2 tablespoon ground oatmeal
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon Vanilla essential oil
Brown mica or soap colorant
Pyrex measuring cup
Knife
Spoon
We will start by making the tops of the cupcakes. Cut 8 ounces of melt and pour soap into 1 inch cubes. Melt in the microwave on high in 30 second intervals. Stir between each interval.
Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essential oil and stir well. Pour into the soap tops. Spray with rubbing alcohol to remove air bubbles.
Cut 10 ounces of melt and pour soap and melt that the same way. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essential oil, the cinnamon, and the oatmeal and stir well. Pour it into the bottoms of the cupcakes in the mold.
Spray with alcohol to remove air bubbles.
Let them sit until cool, about 2 hours.
Remove the soap from the mold. Use a knife to score where you will put them together.
Melt an ounce of soap and carefully spoon it on the soaps to use as a glue. Place the tops on the bottoms and press firmly then let sit.
You can use your oatmeal cream pie soap cupcakes right away.
