Repurposed Old Crate and Clothes Hanger Into Tote
I picked up an old crate last year and have been hanging onto it trying to figure out what to do with it. While moving things around in my shop I laid a few vintage clothes hangers on top of the crate and inspiration hit. Why not make a handle for the crate out of the thickest hanger I had to create a tote. I painted the crate before attaching the hanger because it was super dirty and I wanted to give it more of a spring feel. I think it makes a unique caddy.

I love that crate both pre and post painting. The only change I'd make would be to remive the hook but that's just a matter of personal preference :) I could so see this hanging out on a table at the bottom of my stairwell for those mullion little things that need ran up throughout the day.
