Valentine "LOVE" Blocks Gift Boxes - Upcycled

We finally took down our Christmas decorations and the house looked kind of barren afterwards. But Valentines day is right around the corner so I figured why not put up a little pink and red for the occasion. The only problem was I didn't have anything to decorate with. I had seen some picture cube blocks that someone else made and an idea was born.
The cube boxes are made from empty cracker or cereal boxes.
Free templates are available on my blog or you can search on line.
Before gluing the block together I used some Mod Podge and tissue paper to cover the outside of the box.
Then I assembled the box and decorated it with some photos.
And some old book paper dyed with food coloring.
To finish the boxes I printed out big letters to spell LOVE and made some paper confetti from the extra dyed book paper.
Enjoyed the project?
