Wrapping Paper Bows
The holiday season is approaching and for me that brings lots and lots of wrapping paper. I seem to always buy wrapping paper in every store I go to because of the deals or should I say steals. But one thing that I seem to always forget is bows. Yes, BOWS. What is a gift wrapped without a bow? I know plain, very very plain. So I have a trick for you to make a Christmas bow, using just what you have. WRAPPING PAPER!!!
Only materials needed is wrapping paper, tape and scissors. Start by cutting your wrapping paper into a rectangle shape for your bow.
Then hotdog (long way) fold your wrapping paper. Start cutting your paper towards the crease leaving 1 in at the top.
Unfold your wrapping paper and start to curl each section. To curl it, take your scissors and open them up till they can't no more. Once open, grab your scissors leaving one of the sharp ends exposed. Then glide the scissors against the paper till you reach the top. This will curl your paper.
When all the sections are curled. You are going to fold it back and start to roll it up. Make sure you roll at the base (the crease).
Once you are done tape the base, fluff your bow to your liking and put on your gift. There you have it, a gift with a bow. Simple and easy.

Love it! What size of rectangle do you start with?
Good idea! I always run out of bows. Maybe try a solid color or a contrasting paper with your package? Wow! Now I'm inspired. So many other uses for this type of bow come to mind. Thanks, Markyta! (All within my budget, too!)
