How to make Dollar Tree farmhouse ornaments. These cute bottle brush ornaments are in mini tobacco baskets. Use them on your tree, as a wall decoration, or even on a wreath. They are easy to make and the bottle brushes are from the dollar store, so it's an inexpensive craft.

The baskets can be hard to find. Look for them in the ornament section of Dollar Tree or any big box store. You can also order them on Etsy. I got my bottle brushes from Dollar Tree. They have several different colors available. I liked the colorful ones for my tree. You can use traditional green if you want.

You will need:

  • Baskets
  • White paint
  • Glitter
  • Bottle brush trees
  • Hot glue
  • Rope or twine

Start by painting the basket white. I did one coat of spray paint, but you can use acrylic paint or chalk paint. Use two coats for more coverage.

While the paint is still wet, apply extra fine white glitter. Let dry and then shake to remove excess.

Use hot glue to attach the bottle brush trees.

Then add rope or twine so you can hang them. Be sure to click over to my blog post for more tips for these bottle brush farmhouse ornaments.
