This week’s material of the week, clear fillable glass ornaments, are all you need to design beautiful personalized ornaments or create memorable gifts for family and friends. You can get these clear glass fillable ornaments here.

Fill the ornaments with keepsakes or memories you’ll bring out every year, or paint them to match any Christmas color scheme. Here are a few projects shared by Hometalkers using these clear Christmas ornaments. We can’t wait to see what YOU do with yours!

A Magical Christmas Ornament
These magical ornaments will amaze your family and friends.

1. Put a few kernels of popcorn in an ornament (don’t put the metal top back on!)
2. Close the ornament in a paper bag, and microwave 1 - 2 minutes, until you hear the popping stop.
3. Put the top back on, top with a holiday ribbon, and these ornaments will be the talk of your tree. Check out the full post here!

Memory Ornament
Hometalker Debbie Avila Newton created these beautiful memory ornaments for her newlywed son and daughter in law, complete with memories of their big year. You can make your own to include milestones from the past year, or accomplishments and big dates over the past year.

1. Print out your memorable dates and events, and cut them to size.
2. Insert them into the empty ornament, and close.
Add a bow, and a string for hanging. These make a fantastic gift! See the full post here!

Ordinary To Extraordinary
This Hometalker took her plain ornaments from ordinary to extraordinary with clear glass ornaments and unicorn SPiT. You can use Unicorn SPiT and a plastic bag to get the same textured look, and finish with a spray sealer to hold the color and finish.

1. Choose your colors and grab a syringe to apply the Unicorn SPiT
2. After applying the Unicorn SPiT to the ornament, use a plastic bag, and dab it lightly around the ornament to give it a textured look. Let dry for a few hours.
3. For the final step, spray dry ornaments with a spray sealer like Rust-oleum Laquer spray to hold the color and give it your ornaments a nice shine.

These gorgeous ornaments can be customized to match your decor. See the full post here!

How many kernels of popcorn? I don't want to explode the bulb?

I like the idea of painting the inside. Please tell me what kind of paint to buy. So often people just say craft paint or regular paint. What is "regular" paint?, "standard" paint, "craft" paint. Oil or water base? Thank you for your help.

I saved flowers from my Mamaw and mother in laws funeral flowers. I dried some of them and fixed them in glass ornaments for family memory gifts at Christmas and everyone thought they were great!!

I’m thinking tying a bow around babies first haircut... the ideas are limitless.

Sorry but I'm stealing this idea. What a great way to keep memories around and the best part they are displayed once a year so that means someone will have something to say about that specific memory and then that starts conversation and then it just unravels from there. But great way to keep memories around and you don't have to wait until mom pulls out the baby books only once or twice a year.

(Hint, hint) this kind of idea 💡 would sell among ur community. You would just have to put some more thought into it and make it sellable. Baby stuff with keep memories like this is almost always a big hit.
