Christmas is one of the favorite times of the year for many of us. One of the most fun and special moments of these dates is to decorate the Christmas tree. But what if we set out to make our own ornaments for the tree? Would you dare? In today's tutorial I will show you How to Make Christmas Ornaments for the Tree in a very easy and above all very economical way.

Cut the square dowel with the saw and make pieces the size you want your ornaments. Apply Mod Podge to the piece that you will be working on. Do not apply to all at once because this product dries quickly and then the glitter will not adhere well.

For these two ornaments I used this product from Recollections and the other one I used was the WOW, but you can use any glitter you have on hand. I wanted to combine two different glitter textures to see how they looked and both look very nice.

Apply enough glitter and gently press using your finger on it tapping to help it adhere evenly.

For the ornaments in which I used the Recollection glitter, once that applied the glitter and still wet I took the brush and was accommodating the pieces that stood out.

When they were completely dried with a sharp object I made a hole to introduce the hook system that in this case I used the screw eyes

To stick the mirrors I used Loctite Super Glue and I simply arranged them side by side so that the glitter could be seen between the divisions.

And Voilá!!! This is how they ended up!!!! What do you think of these ornaments for the tree? They are very easy to make and the best thing of all is that you can create different styles and fill your Christmas tree with a single piece of wood that could cost you less than $ 3. Good idea to save money, right?

Couldnt you just take the square and dip the whole thing in the glitter and get it over with , then ??

shake off excess glitter??? Make the eye hole first to have something to hold on to.. If you do all four sides in glitter cut open a gallon milk jug and put your glitter in it , put on glue ,etc and dip the whole block at one time, to save time and get more done . J/S. Cute idea i might add, but want to me some to sit around. Thanks for the idea !!. Happy Holidays.🎶🎵🎶
