50 Th Birthday Party Bust Basket
I have a friend's 50th birthday party coming up, and of course I needed to make a creative present to bring along! I came up with this fun idea using some Dollar Store items, so check it out!
You'll be using a wire trash can. First step is to shape to basket into your desired shape.
Then, using some wire cutters, cut along the top edge, Snip it off half of the basket. This will be used as the basket handle.
Just bend it upwards!
Then cut a v shape into the basket. This will be the "neckline" of the bust. Then fold the edges over so they are not poking out and sharp.
Remove the part that goes past the side.
Then push the front down and shape it to look like a bust. This requires some trial and error, elbow grease, and creativity!
This should give you the shape of a bust and waste!
I then added a diamond trim to the top edge.
And a lace on the back as a bow.
Embellish it anyway you like!
How pretty?
It's done! Now I’ll just add some wine, chocolates, and lotto tickets.
Fill with wine or lottery tickets and give as a fun gift!
