Homemade Baby Blocks
If you're planning a baby shower, you definitely want to add these homemade baby blocks to your decor. They look just like the wooden building blocks we all grew up loving. And they spell out "BABY" in honor of the new baby on the way (you could also make them spell out the baby's name, if you would rather do that). These are made easily with items that you may already have at home. So they're frugal too!
You can purchase these online ( here) but those are pretty pricey. So this tutorial is based on them. Of course, if you don't want to make them, you can buy them. But what's the fun in that?

Draw your box on a piece of cardboard, then start cutting along the lines to create the necessary folds and windows.
Spray paint the boxes white.
We used white, but if you want you can make these pink or blue or whatever color will best match the baby shower theme.
Cover the windows with cellophane. Add blown up balloons and then close the top of the box so the balloons don't escape.
Cut out the letters "BABY" from stencils. If you know the baby's name, you can cut that out instead. But since each letter needs a box, you'll need to make more if the name is longer than four letters.
Stick the stencils to the front of the boxes and display at your party.c
