I am having a fiesta party and want to use clay pots for condiments.

I would use a bowl and place them in the other pots

Clay pots areloaded with lead. Line them with foil or saran wrap AFTER you have sealed them thoroughly.

I would suggest putting ceramic or plastic bowls inside the clay pots!

Wouldn't use them for food by them self. Use something as inserts in the pots. Plastic cups, cut soda bottles to fit, food storage bags folded over the lip of the pots.

Match clay pots with plastic cups and bowls. If you have extra cups of guacamole, sliced limes, picante sauce, etc, cooking in the fridge, they will be easy to pop into the clay pots as needed. ☺️
