Katie over at Something To be Found is holding a March Thrift Challenge and I participated! This is what I came up with - you can see all the participants and vote for your favorite at the URL below. **Please vote for me!** Full Tutorial included here. What kind of 3-Tiered Stand could you make from your weekend thrift store or yard sale finds?
This will be used at my grandson's birthday party to hold cupcakes!
I purchased these at a thrift store in my town for 99 cents each.
All these wooden toys were in a "grab bag" for 99 Cents. I only used part of them and will use the others on another project.
I ran all the toys through the dishwasher then let the wooden pieces dry for nearly a week.
Using Gorilla Glue, I began gluing the pieces together and applying firm pressure where needed, like with a salt shaker!
Carefully remove any glue if it oozes out from under your item. Let dry and you are done!
