DIY RAISED PET FEEDING STATION
Keep your pet's bowls from sliding all over the place by building a raised feeding station! This makes your pet bowls look a lot more organized and almost like a piece of furniture for you home.
Note: you don't want to make this too tall for your pets. It should be at a comfortable height for them to eat with their heads down!
Cut 3 pieces of wood to the dimensions that you want. The top needs to be wide enough to hold 2 bowls. The height should be appropriate for your pet. This is 1"x4" wood so it is 4" wide. We cut the edges with a miter saw for the diagonal edge.
Use a jigsaw to cut out holes for your bowls. They need to have a lip so they can hang without falling through. Use wood glue to hold the pieces tougher.
Stain or paint as desired. We used a stain called Dark Walnut and applied it with a rag. Let it soak in then wipe clean to avoid drips.
Add your bowls and let your pet enjoy their food!
