Walmart has some treats that look like rawhide bones, but they are not raw hide. They have peanut butter and chicken flavor ones. My Yorkie had breath that would kill an elephant til I started giving her one of these chewy bones every night. She loves them. Yes, she knows when its 6 pm and time for her chewy treat. I think she has a watch somewhere, but I don't know where.

There is a product called Odoban that works great. It cleans and deodorizers. It works great on laundry and pet carpet/floor stains also :)

I know. One of mine is a Llasa Apso, he has very small teeth. I lay him on the side and give him belly rubs to relax him first, lol. I give them the greenies after I brush.

A cheap way is to give your dog a tablespoon of organic yogurt a day.

My daughter's Swiss mountain dog had terrible breath. No amount of treats or brushing took care of the problem. They took her to the vet to have her teeth professionally cleaned. She ended up having 8 teeth pulled. They were rotten and probably causing Lexi to have much discomfort. It took care of the problem immediately. I suggest a visit to the Vet.
