Fencing-inexpensive dog house - inexpensive

We'd like to section off our small yard so that our dog can have his own space (dog house) instead of taking up the entire yard and garage. Any ideas on fencing? He's a medium sized dog so it has to be at least 3 feet high I would think. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks.

I know I use this answer a lot, but I have seen some pretty cool fences made from palette lumber. You can space them out on longer boards and trim the tops into a triangle to have a picket effect. They can be painted or stained.

We bought some fence sections at Lowes, they are metal and you can see the dog, they have stakes you put in the ground and fence fits in them. they are easy to move and you can make as small or large as you want by adding or deleting sections. We move alot so easy way to take when we move. they were reasonably priced.

@Ann Huke Thanks so much. Floods amazing. Never seen anything like it. Looked outside and couldnt see yard, driveway or street. One big lake. Unbelievable. Thank you for asking.

What breed of dog is he? The fencing would be different for different dogs.

Good question.I think that chain link fencing is a practical fencing solution for not just playgrounds and backyards, but also swimming-pools, wildlife-barriers and even kennels! These fences are both economic, easy to install and maintain.Nice project.

I lived near a futon shop where they often threw out futon parts. well the bottoms were wooden slats (pickets) and they were strapped together with

webbing strips about 2" apart. collected about 4 of these and used stakes

and zip ties to make my cheap , temporary and decent looking fenced area

    for my poodle.
