I found section of an old wooden fence in an alleyway to be trashed. Few days later I found a wooden ladder made for a loft bed for 20 bucks. I figured I'd spoil my kitty cats more by building them a 7' x 6' three tiered walkway after adding floating shelves for them to hang out on. The final touch with the antique wooden peach crate as a bed/hide out/treehouse.
As you can see the boards were warped when I found them but I decided it we have a cool arched effect for the apartment. The first step to building was attaching the boards to the wall for better support.
Not only is this a cat exercise platform but it also serves as an open air room divider between the doorway in the living room.
