I have made several new fall decorations this year! This is my new wreath for the front door!
This is what I made!
Two wire hangers twisted together to make a big circle.
I cut a bunch of floral wire into about 6" pieces.
I have a bucket full of cones ready to be used, cleaned and bleached! I did 2 buckets last year so these are what was leftover from another project!
I wrapped the floral wire around the pine cones with a little twist then twisted the rest of the wire to the big circle I made from the two hangers. I used just a little bit of hot glue between each of the pine cones to keep everything steady! This took about 2 hours to do so I will finish up in the morning
Now to add just a few more things. I want to stay simple with this wreath so I'll add just a bit more color.
Gold will be great along with that wire ribbon for a bow! The little red cranberries will become gold!
I could have kept them red but I think the gold will look better! I bunched up three at a time which worked out great to stick between every two cones with hot glue. This part took about an hour.
I made a triple bow, used hot glue to attach to the wreath and finished!!!
Oh yea I also added just the top of a pine cone I cut! It looks like a flower! That is a whole other project I will post for Christmas! So that's it another fall decor finished in about 3 hours!
I will have a busy weekend put out all the fall decoration and I can't wait!! This is my favorite time of the year!
Any questions and/ or comments are always welcomed and thanks for taking the time to look at my new pine cone wreath!
See ya next post!
