Metal candle holders from the thrift store are perfect for transforming into super sweet & simple Spring decor! Get more details in my original blog post here as well as other similar ideas.
Do you ever see metal candle holders like this at the thrift store? Sometimes they're less ornate or have flatter platforms, but either way, they were originally meant for pillar candles.
Once I finished this "project prep step", I spray painted my candle holder a soft, Spring-y green.
Then, I added pretty little bird nests to my candle holder! I found these nests at a home decor store (Shh- I liked them better than the versions available at the craft stores, which weren't as mossy and sweet).
I just pushed each nest on the candle spike that was on each platform- that helps the nests stay put! But you could also use a dab of hot glue to make them even more secure.
And all kinds of metal candle holders will work!! I found this other one at a different thrift and gave it a more colorful makeover (you can see more details on my blog). Perfectly pretty and insanely easy Spring decor that you can make in a day!
