Hello, and welcome! I'm so happy to have you here. Today we are going to create a Fall wagon using just a few materials from Dollar Tree. If you don't have a Dollar Tree where you live, you can always visit any local craft store in your area, and find similar items for your wagon.

Materials Needed

- One bundle of Sunflowers

-One Baking pan

-One Thankful sign

(These signs actually come in a pack with a variety of sayings)

-Hot Glue, or any heavy-duty adhesive

-One can of spray paint

(I already had this, but I did purchase this from my local craft store)

-Paint- black, white, yellow, and gold

-One pack of salt and pepper squirrel set

-Two packs of salt and pepper pumpkin sets

-Two packs of magnetic tins

-Twine

-Fall leaves

Optional- ribbon, fall vase fillers, and one scarecrow

The total cost for my purchased Dollar Tree items is $10

If you do purchase the optional items your total will be around $13

Creating your Fall wagon

Start off by taking your baking pan, and applying your spray paint. You will want to apply around two coats of spray paint. Make sure that you are in a well-ventilated area when applying your spray paint. Set your pan aside, and allow it to completely dry.

While your pan is drying, take your magnetic tins, and black paint. Apply your black paint around the front outer surface, and around your lid. Apply to paint around the bottom container as well. Everything should be painted black, except for the inner plastic area of your lid. Set your tins aside and allow them to completely dry.

Next, take your thankful sign, and begin to apply paint. For this, I used yellow and gold paint. I went ahead and mixed the two colors together. You will need around two coats of paint for the finished product.

Set your sign aside, and grab the lids to your tins. Take your white paint, and apply your paint to the inner plastic portion of your lids. Make sure to completely cover this section.

Next, take your sunflowers, and remove them from the stems. I found slipping the tops of the sunflowers off of the stems to be the easiest way to remove them. Take some hot glue, and start gluing your sunflowers onto your wagon. You are now ready to add in your autumn leaves. Apply them using your hot glue.

You're ready to start creating your wagon handle. You will want to cut three strands of your twine. Once you do this, tie off one end of your twine, and braid the three strands together. Once you have done this, you can tie off the end of your twine. Take some hot glue, and glue your twine at one end of your wagon.

Your lids should be completely dry, and you can now add them onto the sides of your wagon. I started off by just allowing the magnetic backing to stick to the side of the pan, but eventually, I took my hot glue and applied that to the back of my tins. I found that this helped secure the tins better on the sides of the pan.

You can now add in your pumpkins and squirrels. You can add hot glue to secure them better, or you can simply place them into your wagon. If you decide to just place them, then you have the option of removing them and adding other fall decorations inside of your wagon.

And of course, this is optional, but you can add in your vase fillers, and add a bow to the front of your wagon.

Your wagon is all done, and all that is left is displaying your wagon.

I hope that you have enjoyed creating this Fall wagon! I'd love to hear from you if you decide to create your very own Fall wagon, and if not leave a comment just saying hello!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

What made you decide to use squirrels instead of the scarecrow? I just think that it would have been better with the theme is all. But anyway I did love it never the less. Thanks for sharing
